Clearing your web browser “cache” to re-enable a web page or to get rid of bad data is a simple procedure. Each web browser handles this is a different way. Instructions for the common ones are listed below.
Macs
Chrome
Hit the Command, Shift and Delete keys at the same time to bring up the Clear browsing data window. Time range should be “All time”. Below that check all the boxes. If you want to preserve any saved passwords click Advanced and you can uncheck the Passwords box.
Safari
Safari Menu, Clear History. Clear “all history”.
Firefox
Hit the Command, Shift and Delete keys at the same time to bring up the Clear All History window. Change Time range to “Everything”. Click Clear Now.
PCs
Chrome
Hit the Ctrl, Shift and Delete keys at the same time to bring up the Clear browsing data window. Time range should be “All time”. Below that check all the boxes. If you want to preserve any saved passwords click Advanced and you can uncheck the Passwords box.
Internet Explorer
Hit the Ctrl, Shift and Delete keys at the same time to bring up the Delete Browsing History window. Uncheck Preserve Favorites website data at the top. Below that check all the boxes. If you want to preserve any saved passwords you can uncheck the Passwords box. Click delete.
Firefox
Hit the Ctrl, Shift and Delete keys at the same time to bring up the Clear Recent History window. Change Time range to “Everything”. Check all the options, Click Clear Now.
