Supported Software

Williams College has a campus wide license that covers individual installation of Mathematica. You can request Mathematica directly from Wolfram Research following the instructions below.

Please note that while this may be referred to as an "individual" installation, this is still Williams College licensed software, meaning that Williams College has paid a fee to license this software for Williams-related work. Therefore, it is expected that you use Mathematica only for Williams College related work.

First time request:
If this is your first time to request an individual installation of Mathematica from Wolfram Research, you need to create an account:
1. Go to https://user.wolfram.com and click "Don't have a Wolfram ID? Create one." link
2. Fill out the form using your @williams.edu emai to "Create Wolfram ID"
3. Check your email and click the link to validate your Wolfram ID

Note: The password you create is for your Wolfram ID NOT your Williams network user ID.

If you have Wolfram ID already
For Faculty/Staff:
Fill out this form to request an Activation Key and download Mathematica.
For Studets:
Fill out this form to request an Activation Key and download Mathematica.

For very large and/or complex jobs, consider running this on the High Performance Computing Cluster
